Last night I started the task of cleaning out my Vintage/Antique books and sewing patterns. I made it through 1 shelf.

I am offering quite a few books and ORIGINAL patterns from the 1870s-1880s for sale. I am asking below what they sell for on ebay. I have them listed in my ETSY SHOP.

I am willing to give a 10% discount if you would like to skip etsy and just use paypal. Items are shipped within 48 hrs of receipt of payment.

Feel free to ask any questions!

The Gatehouse Gazette # 22 out now!

Although we suspended regular publication of the Gatehouse Gazette last year, we didn’t want 2012 to go by without at least one installment of the dieselpunk and steampunk magazine. So I proudly present our thickest issue to date: a 1940s themed special edition of the Gatehouse Gazette.

The magazine has a survey of Spanish steampunk by Jose Francisco Alfaya of Decimononic; a lengthy review of Peter Tsouras’ collection of alternate history stories Third Reich Victorious by Larry Amyett of the Dieselpunk blog; a collection of forgotten technologies by Lorenzo Davia; an essay by Marcus Rauchfuß of The Traveler’s Steampunk Blog about Nazi aesthetics in the dieselpunk genre; a feature by Tome Wilson of Dieselpunks.org about dieselpunk milestones; and, as always, a Steampunk Wardrobe column by Hilde Heyvaert of House of Secrets Incorporated about noir fashion styles.

First Skirt

Today I started my venture into Steamloli!
I've been ogling the style for years now but never actually had the money to do it until now.

I've already bought a few key lolita items, Petti, bloombers, a few Bodyline op but nothing serious. I haven't got the whole coord planned out yet for this skirt so I could really use everyone's help!

Today I bought the following skirt: http://i780.photobucket.com/albums/yy86/lune_de_lumiere/Lolita/il_570xN298450481.jpg
Because I loved it and needed to snag it before anyone else did. I've got a black off-brand blouse that will go swimmingly but other than that I'm in over my head as to shoes, socks, and accessories. Help me please!

House of Decay - New Necklace!

Going back to our roots of recycling/repurposing things, I took a gold toned plastic watch pendant case, hollowed it out, and mounted an absolutely stunning watch movement from a self winding watch, that has a gorgeous, decorative plate around it. If you look closely, you can even see the gears move when you shake/move the pendant around!

I hung this from a simple gold toned chain accented with clear glass beads in a gorgeous, sparkly Aurora Borealis finish, an orangey/amber shade, and a deep brown.

This is meant to hang about mid-to-upper chest level, but length can be added upon request, price may be slightly adjusted.

Listed at just $25! And we still have that gorgeous Steampunk Choker for sale!
